Building Trust Through Movement

In a semi-circle formation, individuals and teams meet hand-in-hand and shoulder-to-shoulder. Performing synchronized movements in this way naturally builds trust and promotes psychological safety within the group, fostering social connectedness and a shared identity.

Dabke comes from Bilad Al-Sham (بلاد الشام) — Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan.

Who we are

Who We Are

Yalladabka is more than a dance group. It is a practice of cultural continuity, collective joy, and community-building through Dabke.

Our Story

It started in 2016 at Görlitzer Park, Berlin. Two friends, no funding, no concept — just Dabke. YallaDabka was officially founded in 2017.

The Core Team

Meet the people who teach, organize, and carry Yalladabka's cultural work across communities.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

Experience across international workshop contexts.

We have led Dabke workshops in very different settings — from city festivals to international exchange formats to multi-day courses. We adapt to every context. Our team speaks multiple languages and creates a space where everyone feels seen and connected.

Simple setup, lasting effect. No heavy production needed — an open space, music, and a group is enough.
