Our Story
From Berlin to communities across Europe, Yalladabka keeps Dabke alive through culture, connection, and movement.
Our Dabke Story
Founded in Berlin in 2017, Yalladabka is an initiative that preserves Dabke as living cultural heritage and uses it as a community practice. Dabke works as a shared language that can connect people across origin, age, and language, opening space for trust, dialogue, joy, and belonging. Over the years, Yalladabka has organized workshops, training sessions, and community events across Germany, Europe, and beyond.
Our Vision
We envision a society in which the spirit of Dabke brings people closer, strengthens belonging, and supports collective resilience in communities, workplaces, and everyday life.
Our Mission
Our mission is to share the living tradition of Palestinian Dabke through workshops, performances, and cultural sessions. By connecting people through rhythm, movement, and storytelling, we create spaces where trust, pride, and solidarity can grow.
