An invitation to dance at the Elbphilharmonie
Step into the line and discover Dabke through its energetic stamping steps, shared rhythm, and collective movement. This immersive workshop gives participants the chance to learn their first steps and experience how Dabke creates connection through movement.
Designed for first steps
Participants aged 16 and above are welcome. The workshop introduces the foundations of Dabke in an encouraging group setting.
Living cultural heritage
Dabke has been danced for centuries across Bilad al-Sham and has been recognised as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2023.
Part of the Lebanon Festival
The workshop is presented through the Elbphilharmonie PLUS programme as part of the Lebanon Festival.

Kaistudio 1 is located on floors 2 and 3 in the base of the Elbphilharmonie. Follow the signs to lift group B from the main entrance.
